Strengthen Your Immune System with Beetroot Juice

Eastern Europeans have for years used beetroots to prevent them from getting a cold during the winter season. The natural sugars in the beetroot is easily digestible and it gives you an energetic boost as well as strengthening your immune system with its nutritional composition.

For one glass you will need:

  • 1/2 small beetroot
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 big cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt

This is how you make it:

Wash the vegetables and put the beetroot, carrots and cucumber into the juicer. Add the lemon juice and pour into a glass. Add the tablespoon of yogurt on top of it.
